Based on Erik Satie’s enigmatic Vexations. The soundboard of a dismantled upright piano functions as loudspeaker (transducers are attached on the back) and a projection surface. The theme of repetition and boredom informs the video part, which interprets a 1968 activist slogan from Paris ”Metro Boulot Dodo” (Metro, Work, Sleep) using video clips from Warhol’s “Sleep”, Chaplins “Modern Times” and from the Paris metro.
